Welcome to the ATNoG integration wiki for new researchers.
This wiki is intended to get you started on the existing services, so you can integrate more easily with everyone.
ATNoG is one of the research groups inside IT Aveiro, by now you should have
* An IT account with an access card and an email user@av.it.pt
* An ATNoG account, used in services managed by our group
* An assigned desk in IT
If you don't have these three things you should ask your supervisor about what you need to do to get them.
Let's go through some topics to get you started.
## Communication
Check the ATNoG [list of members](https://www.it.pt/Groups/Members/19) for emails.
There is also a [slack channel](https://atnog.slack.com/signup) for ATNoG members
Looking for someone else? Inside IT dial 48200 to reach the reception desk and ask for more info.
## Personal Information
You can check and edit your personal information at [GOsa](https://atnog.av.it.pt/gosa/).
## Email
You can access your email account [here](https://mail.av.it.pt/).
## Printers
To use the printer, you must connect to the wired IT network.
Once you are connected, access the local network location "\\PRINTERS".
Once there, you can find a folder with drivers for the printers for multiple operating systems and the printers themselves.
When you print something, head to the printer and login using your IT account (you will be able to just scan your IT card after the first login). Your documents will be waiting on the printing queue so you can print them.
## Monthly Reports
If you need to fill the monthly reports, you can do so at the [WorkBoard](https://atnog.av.it.pt/workboard/)
## SSH
All ATNoG members have access to a server through Secure Shell that you can use to access internal servers and use as your personal space.
The server's address is "atnog.av.it.pt".
Please use your ATNoG account to access it, and not your IT account.
## GitLab Repository
All ATNoG members have access to a [repository server](http://gitlab.atnog.org/).
## Virtualization
If you need to create a Virtual Machine, check our [virtualisation platform](https://gitlab.atnog.org/ATNoG/support/wikis/proxmox)
## VPN Access
If you need to access internal services while outside, you can connect to the IT network using a VPN.
To do so, you can use a browser with the Java plugin installed [here](https://vpn2.av.it.pt/).
If this does not work, please check the other options using CheckPoint at the support wiki [vpn page](https://gitlab.atnog.org/ATNoG/support/wikis/it-vpn).
## Tech Support
If you need tech support, you can create a [support issue](https://servicedesk.av.it.pt/WorkOrder.do?reqTemplate=2103).
